Paul helped us finish off a fireplace installation, preparing and installing a mantle and laying some floorboard trim. My experience with Paul was great, he was super responsive and able to accommodate delays in other trades with no issue. The work was completed to a high quality and I am was very pleased with Paul's attention to detail. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely recommend them to others.

Unfortunately our experience with Springvan Carpentry has been lukewarm at best, but I recognize the value in their work. Our projects endured repeated schedule slips, and at every step we had to follow-up to ensure quality work was delivered. Multiple trades had to be called back to fix deficiencies that would have only taken a little extra time to do nicely the first time. Paul was largely supportive about getting everything up to nicer finish quality but I was frequently disappointed that it wasn't done with care and consideration the first time.

I recently had Paul and his team build a new deck and fire escape staircase on a house I own. I found Paul and the team to be very responsive and solution oriented when organizing the final details. His team worked efficiently through the fall monsoon season. the project went very smoothly, was finished on time and was a high quality build. I highly recommend Paul and his team for any projects you may have!

Springvan came in at the end of a year long renovation to add fencing of two types, one quite unique, a deck, outside platform/staircases, and also to address a drainage issue. They were by far the best and most hard working crew of all the crews who went through our place. They never dropped the ball, not once , and their communications were the best of all the crews that we dealt with over the entire project(s). Would recommend 100% and they will be our first call when we need any further work.

Paul and his team are amazing! Highly recommend. Our deck looks fabulous and it was not an easy deck to build as we live on a cliff in Lions Bay.
